I would like to know what technique do you use to generate the minutes spent on a rich media ad?

The interaction time is duration of communication between User and the Advertisement banner. It can be calculated by various mouse operations like Mouse move and Click on banner.

Does the interaction time start once the rich media ad is loaded or does the interaction time start once a mouseover is done on the rich media ad?

The interaction time is calculated as the average time between banner displayed in page and banner has clicked by user.

The rich media ads are user interactive ad formats and it uses HTML5 or flash technology to build the banners. This ad format includes image, video, sound and visitor interactivity so, the audience may get attracted to it and involves in those advertisements.

Rich media interaction time plugin for revive ad server is used to track the time spent by the user on published rich media advertisements. If the publisher has posted rich media ads on their website, the plugin will track the duration of a particular visitor and notifies the user.
